Winter snow camping is an incredible opportunity to experience the wilderness environment in an entirely new way. Learn and practice the skills to plan, prepare for, and safely enjoy your own winter snow camping adventures.
Our objectives include learning important winter safety considerations, selecting winter overnight destinations, predicting and planning for current conditions, establishing a winter campsite, effective layer management, essential winter self-care skills, and winter-specific Leave No Trace considerations.
The Cascade Mountain Adventures team has years of experience in leading safe and successful winter snow camping classes. Join us to learn how to safely and confidently enjoy overnight wilderness camping year-round. (and get you closer to those mountaineering dreams!)
